Assessment

A comprehensive psychological assessment typically includes a clinical interview and one or more forms of standardized psychological testing. The length of the assessment can vary—from a couple of hours to a full day—depending on the concerns being explored.

Assessments can be helpful for many reasons. They offer a deeper understanding of the challenges a person is facing and help guide a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. A well-conducted assessment can clarify symptoms, support an accurate diagnosis when appropriate, and provide a clear direction for therapy—helping to restore everyday functioning and improve overall quality of life.

Because everyone’s assessment needs are unique, I offer a free 15-minute consultation call to explore whether a psychological assessment may be helpful for you. This is an opportunity to discuss your concerns, get a sense of what the process involves, and see how an assessment might support your goals.
